Minimally Invasive Spine (MIS) Surgery
For a disc herniation, a discectomy may be performed in hopes of alleviating the pressure of the bone of the nerve, causing intense symptoms of pain, numbness and/or muscle weakness. Dr. Yashar is now able to offer this surgery using a minimally invasive approach.
Traditional open spine surgery involves a single large incision down the back, stripping large thick muscles away from the spine and then retracting (pulling) the surrounding muscles to get a clear view of the vertebrae. Minimally invasive spine surgery, a new technique involving a much smaller incision, muscle dilation and use of microsurgical and image guided technologies is available and provides desirable outcomes in patients who are candidates.

- I realized that Dr. Yashar genuinely cares to cure his patient with or without money, which makes him an exceptional doctor in a city that most physicians don't even listen to their patients, and all they do is to collect $ and ignore patients. At Dr. Yashar office I dealt with Amber and Michael who has been a credit to their profession and went above and beyond patient satisfaction.
